Card sticker translator
A Chinese–English glossary built from the rulebook, OCR localization and translation of card scans, and printable A4 sticker-strip PDFs as output.
EVIDENCE
- Rulebook-based glossary approach
- OCR localization pipeline
- A4 print output target
The flow starts from the rulebook: build a Chinese–English glossary as the terminology baseline, run OCR localization on card scans, detect text regions and lay them out per the card’s print template, then output A4 sticker-strip PDFs ready for printing and cutting. What’s validated so far is the minimal viable flow, positioned as a local personal tool.
PROBLEM
Physical cards must stay in their original language while becoming readable for Chinese players; ordinary image translation rarely turns directly into sticker strips suited to printing and card sleeves.
APPROACH
Rulebook vocabulary serves as the reference; scan OCR, region localization, translation and print layout are chained together; the minimal viable flow is validated first.
BOUNDARY
Explicitly labeled a prototype, not a product in large-scale commercial use; positioned as a local personal tool.
